This hub brings together business service organizations to better provide support to small businesses that help them achieve success and stimulate the local and regional 经济. 的 Center for Business Advancement is comprised of:

Southwestern College hosts the 圣地亚哥 & Imperial Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network's lead center. 的 network provides a vast array of technical assistance to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs in the 圣地亚哥 and Imperial Valley 县. It also supports business growth and sustainability as well as enhances the creation of new business through advising, free or low-cost training, and other specialized services SBDC clients receive. 的 program remains one of the nation’s largest small business assistance programs in the federal government.

Committed to a growing, vibrant small business community, this SBDC also housed at Southwestern College where its lead center is held as well, has provided south San Diego small businesses with critical information and tools for over 20 years. 的 area center serves small and developing businesses throughout south 圣地亚哥 County.

PTAC (formerly known as SDCOC – 圣地亚哥 Contracting Opportunities Center) provides no-cost resources to assist small businesses with selling their products and services to government agencies. Southwestern College hosts the 圣地亚哥, Orange, Imperial PTAC.
